What is a Sensitive?

A sensitive is any creature, human or otherwise, who has some sort of extrasensory perception. This does not include people with animal-like traits unless these traits are caused by a supernatural trigger. Sensitives are referred to collectively as a group in the updates, but can be broken down into three categories.

High:

These characters are incredibly in tune with the universe around them, anything that happens that will affect the sensitive will hit them the hardest and the longest. These are characters like Luke Skywalker or a naturally occurring medium, someone who is open and has trouble shutting themselves down would also fall into this category.

Medium:

This is the group in which most of the magical and supernatural characters fall into. They will be effected by most things, and it will not seem very out of the ordinary for them. Most characters who experience and interacted with supernatural or magical occurrences in their respective canons can be safely placed in this category, if they are not exceptionally strongly connected. For example, these are characters who may have spoken with or touched things such as ghosts.

Low:

The characters in this category have minimal connection/awareness to magical and supernatural events and anomalies. Those who fall into this grouping are those that, for example, experience limited sensing outside of what is 'normal.' For example, they may have a sense that something is dangerous or out of the ordinary, even when others may not notice.

Character Name: Sam Winchester
Sensitivity level: High
Nature of sensitivity: Sam has a 'sixth sense' about the supernatural and an ability to sense ghosts and spirits. He also has quite a few latent psychic powers. And he's the vessel of an archangel. (There's also a wall holding back his memories of Hell.)

NOTE: Because of a deal made with the Lady in White, the Winchesters have an amulet that protects them from things in the house. Sam is the current wearer of the amulet, which protects him from a certain amount of the psychic stuff that gets thrown around the house.

Sensitivity level: Medium
Nature of sensitivity: Fire Elemental/Pyrokinetic. Can mentally call fire instantly out of anywhere. Currently changed to Water elemental. Considered to have a spirit of the element within, or at least the energy of it within. In canon she sees ghosts, spirits and other things, though not always. Sometimes it requires special goggles. Sensitive and connected but not highly so.

Nature of sensitivity: Strong telepathy, can create mental illusions, manipulate, and affect memories.

Sensitivity level: Medium
Nature of sensitivity: Character is undead. Picks up on phenomenon involving spirits, ghosts, and bad feels involving death due to being closer to that side of the living/dead line.

Character Name: Dean Winchester
Sensitivity level: Borderline Medium
Nature of sensitivity: Lifetime of hunting the supernatural and numerous interactions because of it, sharp hunter's instincts. Like Sam, a (never used) archangel vessel, been to Heaven and Hell, and being kidnapped by fairies gave him fey sight. Also briefly a vampire but cured, and well time travelled.

Character Name: Gilbert Baskerville
Sensitivity level: Low
Nature of sensitivity: Uhmm... he's a Baskerville. This makes him generally perceptive to unusual things compared to most people. Baskervilles aren't really human either; essentially like a chain back home and incredibly hard to kill. He's liable to notice something's off before a normal person might and possibly at the level he could sense a ghosts' presence rather than see them.

Sensitivity level: High
Nature of sensitivity: Sky Flame/Intuition! Basically, his powers run off his will and life force/draw on and include it, and have certain properties that he's practiced and gotten good enough at that he can tune it out a little sometimes/not necessarily act on it, but he can't turn it -OFF-.

He picks up on presences/other wills, their intentions, some vague sense of emotions, and also has an ability to tell if something's a threat. The "threat radar" runs independent of the sense of intentions, although he's still getting used to dealing with it when those clash.

Sensitivity level: High
Nature of sensitivity:
Fleshcrafter mage and student of magical theory and spellcrafting. Can sense supernatural and magical energies, and in most cases their source. He's seen ghosts on a number of occasions and has had very curious conversations with them. He also has an uncanny ability to sense a humanoid or other creature's inner structures; example: where their heart(s) or equivalent organs are located, how they function, and how to best manipulate them to harm or heal. Character Name: Rokudou Mukuro
Sensitivity level: Medium
Nature of sensitivity: Powerful illusionist; he doesn't have more than gut-feeling/intuition and experience for a "sixth sense" and being used enough to illusions to seem to be able to tell a bit if something IS an illusion, but he's kind of died and been revived repeatedly when he was younger, and gets a bit messy/complicated.

He's also capable of some mind control tricks and potentially possessing others/body-hopping.

*He registers as a High sensitive for house effects thanks to an event.

Sensitivity level: High
Nature of sensitivity: Luke is a Jedi, which means the Force is almost always nagging at him about something. He's particularly sensitive to emotions and intent.

Sensitivity level: Low
Nature of sensitivity: Her sensitivity is pretty much just normal. She can tell when people mean harm mostly because she's trained to do harm, protect herself, etc. it's more being aware of things happening around her and subtle body gestures and sounds than magic. She CAN call dying will flames but it's supposedly 'scientific' in her world. (KHR unashamedly does not make sense and to try to make sense of it is folly)

ETA: the poison thing.. might be magic. They never really out and out call it that. But she does have a poison touch if she chooses. SO. Maybe that will up her sensitivity?

Sensitivity level: Low, but at the upper end of that category, borderline medium. (Medium-low with sword)
Nature of sensitivity: Now more able to sense when there is imminent danger to himself, and able to get an idea of something being wrong when in the general vicinity of something dangerous. Also able to occasionally pick up on emotions when he touches another person, but this power is intermittent and may not always be in effect.

Nature of sensitivity: TEENAGE WITCH although she sucks. She knows about ghosts! Mostly she's bravado though.

Sensitivity level: medium
Nature of sensitivity: Tends to 'sense' and interact with otherworldly beings/the otherworldly realms quite a bit. Sometimes has visions/dreams about such things. Very very limited precognition at times which usually manifests in a strong intuitive sense.

Sensitivity level: Edging on high, I guess
Nature of sensitivity: He's a Hollow so anything in a dead/spiritual sense he's right on it. Unsure about magic though since he's more attuned to reading people's souls/spiritual energy for what they are and how powerful they are. And for eating.

Character Name: The Eighth Doctor/John Smith
Sensitivity level: I'm going to say... medium to high?
Nature of sensitivity: He can sense changes in the time stream in his canon, and he can tell when something is wrong. He can also sense others of his own kind. Also, I'm not sure if this matters, but he can read others' minds and share his memories. As for ghosts, while he doesn't believe in them, they tend to not show up in his canon, but I'm going to say that due to his somewhat high sensitivity in canon, he'll be able to sense them.

Character Name: Orihime Inoue
Sensitivity level: Medium-High
Nature of sensitivity: Orihime's powers are derived from her soul (shield, rejection of injuries/events, slicing enemies in two). She's also able to recognize a soul's individual signature, and if it's someone she knows well, she can probably use those senses to find that person. I don't know if she's on Luke Skywalker's level, but she's one of the best at detecting 'reiatsu' in canon, being the only one who could find Ichigo when he was in hiding and training behind a spiritual blockade.

Sensitivity level: Low-Medium
Nature of sensitivity: It's very low but he is mostly by luck and when he's really trying. Otherwise he's useless.

Character Name: Rei Kurosawa
Sensitivity level: Medium to high
Nature of sensitivity: Rei comes from a canon where she is a normal person, but is cursed to see ghosts within her house, her dreams, and with the ability to repel or exorcise spirits with her camera.

Note: Due do some House Adventures, she has gained the ability to repel spirits with touch (depending on the dice), and with it, a greater awareness to ghostly activities.There's also a greater risk to being possessed. She also has a greater awareness of the intention of animals, and this can go on/off with those around her as well, depending on permissions.

Character Name: The Tenth Doctor
Sensitivity level: Medium
Nature of sensitivity: All Gallifreyans are telepathic to a greater or lesser degree. He can sense the presence of minds around him and can tell if they're out of phase or if they're simply psychic resonances left over from an actual being. Also, he can literally see time--sort of like how Neo can see the Matrix only without the green lettering. It's a bit less concrete than that. He sees how it trails after people and bunches up around events and wibbles this way and wobbles that way around singularities and whatnot.

Also, he has a mun who clearly likes the sight of her own text. >.

Sensitivity level: Medium
Nature of sensitivity: For a while due to her bond with Lissa, she could recognize ghost spirits -- like Mason -- and Strigoi. She has lost her bond by now and lost both of these because of it, but she can tell if you are human, Dhampir, Moroi, or Strigoi. She could probably become sensitive to stuff that she was sensitive about before.

Sensitivity level: Low Medium
Nature of sensitivity: Death Notes, 'nuff said. Light writes in them, employs magical heart attacks to kill people, and sees the Shinigami that owned the Note originally. So yes, aware of the supernatural. He's since gotten into house shenanigans that have upped his sensitivity.

Character Name: Ulquiorra Cifer
Sensitivity level: High
Nature of sensitivity: Ulquiorra is capable of detecting the reiatsu (spiritual energy) that emanates from souls. He's highly proficient with this ability, and is able to pick out characteristics about the nature of that soul- ie. how much of it they have, and the source itself (ex. human, shinigami, hollow, other). Ulquiorra isn't capable of magic per se, but he is the conglomeration of thousands of dead souls that has both the powers of a Hollow and Shinigami. TL;DR highly attuned to the environment.

Sensitivity level: High. So high.
Nature of sensitivity: He can see/hear supernatural things normal people can't (Reapers, hellhounds, etc.) and sense the presence of people and creatures.
