What is a Sensitive?

A sensitive is any creature, human or otherwise, who has some sort of extrasensory perception. This does not include people with animal-like traits unless these traits are caused by a supernatural trigger. Sensitives are referred to collectively as a group in the updates, but can be broken down into three categories.

High:

These characters are incredibly in tune with the universe around them, anything that happens that will affect the sensitive will hit them the hardest and the longest. These are characters like Luke Skywalker or a naturally occurring medium, someone who is open and has trouble shutting themselves down would also fall into this category.

Medium:

This is the group in which most of the magical and supernatural characters fall into. They will be effected by most things, and it will not seem very out of the ordinary for them. Most characters who experience and interacted with supernatural or magical occurrences in their respective canons can be safely placed in this category, if they are not exceptionally strongly connected. For example, these are characters who may have spoken with or touched things such as ghosts.

Low:

The characters in this category have minimal connection/awareness to magical and supernatural events and anomalies. Those who fall into this grouping are those that, for example, experience limited sensing outside of what is 'normal.' For example, they may have a sense that something is dangerous or out of the ordinary, even when others may not notice.

Sensitivity level: Medium
Nature of sensitivity: He uses magic and is aware of it since he has innate abilities from creation. From a supernatural stand-point he hasn't had much experience with it.

Nature of sensitivity: Sometimes he'll know a persons' name without being introduced, and if a person has something on their minds or they're on a mission/quest of some sort he can usually tell. He also sees auras.

Nature of sensitivity: He's a rasetsu, which in his canon is basically the supernatural creature that results when humans try to become demons. His powers aren't really oriented around the sensory stuff, though.

Sensitivity level: low
Nature of sensitivity: In the show she calls it her 'spidey' sense. It's kind of an ability to sense that something is wrong or fishy or dangerous. She's supposed to be able to 'feel' vampires but she's kind of broken. She only feels Angel.

Nature of sensitivity: MAGIC EYES also a general, passive danger sense. Can mold chakra (inner energy) to perform superhuman feats. Highly developed llusionary abilities.

Nature of sensitivity: Granted by events in the house, so for the moment, specifics are unknown.

Nature of Sensitivity: Jeff has a very limited psychic sensitivity both in human and "Hound" form. Non-humans and people with more-than-human abilities have a different "feel" than ordinary humans. His impressions are extremely vague; at best, he can tell someone is a mage or a psychic or just "not human," but no more specific than that.

Nature of sensitivity: She has some animal like instincts and can smell/feel the taint of the Abyss, and probably other bad mojo. She can or at least used to? turn into the B-Rabbit, the 'most powerful Chain in the Abyss' but since she's been sealed...

Character Name: Sou "Kit" Kigetsuki
Sensitivity level: Medium
Nature of sensitivity: He can sense powers and is hyperaware of his surroundings. This is mostly due to his ability to tap into psychic energy of another dimension that creates his Alter. This tapping of energy allows him to dodge attacks from the ground. Air attacks and water attacks he has trouble since they are opposite to his element of fire.

Character Name: Teddie
Sensitivity level: Medium-High
Nature of sensitivity: Teddie is something of an unnatural creature himself, and has the ability to use a Persona. So he's aware of how abnormal powers can exist, and isn't too surprised by things like that, having lived in a world full of shadows.

Also, the bear has a keen sense of 'smell', meaning he can sniff out those who have ended up in his own world. Sometimes he his nose isn't as good as it normally is, but usually it just takes the addition of the right information to help him find the scent. So he's sensitive towards others and can feel people around when they're out of place in the tv world.

Sensitivity level: Low
Nature of sensitivity: Elena is, in her canon, a supernatural creature called the Petrova Doppelganger. Her blood is incredibly useful in witch spells that involve connecting people, or when used as the catalyst in a powerful curse. Elena is also very used to being around supernatural creatures, though she can't use magic herself. All of her connections to magical anomalies are entirely out of her control. It's possible that the Petrova Doppelganger is particularly attractive to men, given the number of suitors they've had over the years, though this isn't proven.

Sensitivity level: High
Nature of sensitivity: He can sense the Black Wind (the herald of death). He's been exposed to ghosts and demons most of his life. He is a master wizard.

Sensitivity level: Medium
Nature of sensitivity: Largely connected to his ability to sense light/darkness, and the great degree of skill he has in manipulating darkness and hearts. He is also one of the foremost sorcerors of his canon and thus has an incredibly strong magical affinity.

Nature of sensitivity:

He's a werewolf! Well, uh, a Blutbad. He has enhanced senses, and encounters supernatural shenanigans a whole lot. Grimm canon has not [ so far ] mentioned ghosts specifically, so uh... I don't know about that one. I doubt he has any specific speciality there. Just... actual supernatural MONSTERS, I think.

Nature of sensitivity: He's a wizard and can talk to ghosts and makes friends of werewolves and things. And he's got that pesky bit o'soul lodged in his head, if that impacts anything.

Nature of sensitivity: Very keen intuition, and also this one time he touched a magic notebook and talked to a Shinigami. If Rem showed up, he'd be able to see and hear her.

Sensitivity level: Medium
Nature of sensitivity: Belphe is a creature borne of imagination, and therefore is sometimes able to detect and interact with other imaginary/magical creatures others may not be able to see.

Nature of sensitivity: She can use and is aware of magic, although she can't use much at all. She's never met a ghost, but monsters are a fact of life for her.

Sensitivity level: High
Nature of sensitivity: Half-demon witch. Raven's an empath and has a sixth sense that allows her to sense magic in others (especially dark magic). She can cast spells, use telekinesis and astral projection (to get in someone else's mind, but she won't do it without said person's consent).

Nature of Sensitivity: She has a sensitivity to souls explained in her bio but I do not know how or even if this will extend to other supernatural beings. She has no ability to use magic.

Nature of sensitivity: Being a rather accomplished illusionist Chrome is capable of sensing or seeing through other people's illusions.

Sensitivity level: Low
Nature of sensitivity: Kaylee's senses are the same as any other average human. She can tell if something doesn't necessarily feel right, but most of the time it's with other people or machines and not with the supernatural.

Sensitivity level: Medium to High
Nature of sensitivity: She is familiar with the concept of supernatural things and uses magic. In terms of sensing most things, she's no more sensitive than anyone else, however. She also has a connection to the "Light" which may allow her to sense light-based or shadow based magical energy.

Sensitivity level: Low
Nature of sensitivity: Markus lives in a world where some people are gifted with quite specific and seemingly magical powers or abilities. He has one himself - being able to make things rot at his touch. He's also had run-ins with a magical abomination. He's aware of the supernatural in his world, but doesn't have any deep knowledge about it.
