|| DAY 20 GENERAL
The first chime of noon vibrates through the house, slow and resonating, lingering in the air on an almost visible spectrum. The day has dragged on, each moment crawling by like an age, but there seems to be no relief from it.
Throughout the house Spectres appear, achingly familiar to those within the house. It is someone they have left behind, smiling at them for just a moment. Their hands extend like clockwork, and into the hands of the guests they press a piece of paper. On the paper is a message, though it is different for each house-guest. The common theme that exists within the fragmented notes is reassurance, encouraging them to continue on.
The spectres vanish into the fog of the morning as though they have never been, only the note confirming their existence at all.
Those involved in the plot will feel a strange brush against the back of their left hand, soft like a paintbrush, caressing their skin. Though nothing and no one materializes, a mark begins to paint itself on the back of their hands. The marks differ greatly from one another; though as the guests begin to wander they will notice that four others carry the same strange marking as they themselves do.
