As the sun sets, it immediately rises again. The wind howls around the castle's towers, rattling the windows and the inhabitants. The guards are more on edge than usual, as are several of the ghosts. They are nearly as active as they might be at night, and far more irritable. The castle doors are held shut by the wind; forcing them open is possible, but not recommended, as people outdoors are at risk of being injured in the storm.
In the entry hallway, the Tyger paces, growling at the windows; it's unclear whether it's more perturbed by the wind or the sun streaming in, as it stiffens at each new heavy gust and skirts the direct sunlight. It's possible to pass by it without being harassed, so long as one is careful to not approach too closely or directly disturb it.
The scratching sound increases in volume from the Poppy Room, as does its draining effects. Nothing else changes in there.
The Steward has grown even more irritable, if one would have ever assumed it to be possible. Even if the servants' assigned chores have been completed flawlessly by any objective measure, he seems intent on forcing them to continue. Simply running into him carries a fair risk of punishment, even if unjustified.
