DAY 045: NOON

|| Day 045: NOON

As the sun rises high into the sky and the clock beckons in the noon hour, the weather begins to shift.

The temperature rises abnormally quickly, spiking into something uncomfortably high. While the morning was bitterly cold, now the guests sweat steadily, clothes plastered to their bodies. Those wearing the uniforms will find this effect lessened, and though they still sweat like the others it is as if a light breeze keeps the worst of the discomfort away.

Even the water from the taps seems to have dried out, the pipes groaning with effort and sputtering before letting out the barest streams of water.

The Lake begins to bubble and boil, and a low moaning sound echoes out from its depths.

The sun hangs in the sky, abnormally large and bright. It almost seems frozen in place, though that can't be right.

Admit it. You knew this was coming.

To the Lake, this one shall go. Or attempt to drag himself there, depending on what happens with the Burning Man thread. Walter has been fixated on that particular location for a while.

Attempted fishing with wires will be happening at some point, and probably repeated attempts with cool-down periods in between until he finds what he's looking for (a body) or someone manages to drag him inside.

Also, the power/ability access and control difficulty is still in effect, right? Are there any recommendations for rolls on that, i.e. one roll for access and another for control?
