Day 006 Noon
As the chimes of noon fill the house, a different kind of tone begins to ring out behind them, perfectly dissonant. For Loki, the noises can be felt as much as heard, and the sounds clear his head of fever, however briefly. The clarity ends when the chimes do.
As the clock fades, it becomes clear that it is the sound of musical instruments, not yet playing but preparing. The occasional brief melody can be heard, but most of the sounds are the deep, heavy, out of tune chords of a bass, or the too-high shriek of a violin not yet tuned. The sound can be heard throughout the house, though it is louder as one gets closer to the ballroom. As the hours wane, the music slowly becomes less and less disconnected and more like it might actually become song.
Despite the lack of real music, a couple-- a young man and woman-- has appeared in the ballroom, dancing in the intermittent rhythm. They are only visible from the balcony above, where they can be seen twirling among the Unnatural Servants. Their smiles are clear on their faces, and the occasional sound of twinkling or deep laughter can be heard. The girl, with short bobbed hair, and very practical clothes, does not look at home in the ballroom, doing a waltz. Anyone with exceptional hearing can hear that the man, who looks much more like he belongs in the scene, is teaching her the steps. She laughs at how he looks when he breaks away to demonstrate alone, but he doesn't seem to mind. Occasionally they break away from the pattern and enter into exuberant swing dancing, something she leads on instead.
The two seem to genuinely be enjoying themselves, and nothing anyone calls down to them seems to break them from their utterly devoted attention to one another.

We're taking six sign ups this time. Characters taken in the last round of experiments are not permitted to sign up this time, though the muns are welcome to volunteer others. Priority will be given to those who were not involved last time. Names will be drawn by RNG on Tuesday.))
