As day breaks, the clock begins to chime once more, slowly drowning out the sound of construction as it fades. Beneath the house, those who were taken by the phantoms in the night are returned; they will wake in the dirt hallway beyond the Hospital Wing and be able to make their way back into the house proper.
The front door opens briefly, admitting the boy once more into the house. He is wrapped against the cold and with Dean, it appears as though the two of them have been outside for some time. The boy will remain in the house for the first part of the morning and can be approached if anyone wishes to talk to him.
A new wing has opened off the second floor, check the setting post for updates and new rooms. With a new wing comes a new mystery for the house guests.
In several different rooms pieces of wood can be found, seemingly some sort of puzzle.
1. In the toilet in the Open Bathroom It's luckily too big to flush.
2. On the bed in the Mosaic Bedroom
3. In the closet in the Dark Bedroom
4. Clutched in the fist of a Mannequin in the Sewing Room it seems to be too tightly held to be removed. Perhaps a tool would help?
5. In the tea pot in the Day Room.
6. Laying on the Piano keys in the Parlor.
Once the pieces are brought together, a key can be assembled, opening the hidden door at the end of the hallway.
For the sensitive, the day feels uneasy, as though again, the house is waiting for something to occur. Whatever the feeling is, it does not fade, nor does a cause become apparent.. Day has arrived, time to lick wounds and claim rooms and recover from the night.
